Women in Exploration’s goal is to promote scientific exploration, field research, cultural learning, sustainability, and animal welfare.
Exploration satisfies our curiosity and drive to learn about our world and beyond. Land, sea, air, space, and our environment – women have made monumental contributions. From Jeanne Baret, a botanist and the first woman to circumnavigate the globe, to Marie Curie, the first person to win the Nobel prize twice, and the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields, there are many stories that unite to tell the history and future of women in exploration.
Our first objective is to create a platform of content that promotes the positive advancements women are making to better our world.
If you are a woman that works in scientific advancement, cultural education, environmental awareness, or animal rights – excellent, Women in Exploration would love to hear your story. Please fill in the bio form.
If you are just interested in helping promote this work – great, please click the “I want to get involved” button above to fill in the volunteer form. All are welcome to participate.
